Eric Drummond has been a fixture in the world of Human Resources for more than 30 years.  In addition to identifying and attracting top quality executive talent, he is well known for building relationships and coaching business leaders.  Eric has held leadership positions in several Fortune 200 companies including PepsiCo, RJ Reynolds, the National Basketball Association (NBA) and most recently, CHRO for Novelis, a $17 billion aluminum company.

Raised on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, Eric learned at a young age that developing relationships and excellent communication skills are life transforming.  After graduating from Michigan State University with a Master’s Degree in Labor Relations, Eric continued to raise his understanding of critical life skills and diverse cultures while living in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Wherever Eric worked, he immersed himself in the business community, building long and personal relationships with some of the most successful and influential professionals.  His decades of business experience have provided him with an extensive catalog of connections in every region of the world. Eric would regularly be asked if he “knew someone who….” In most cases, he was able to provide such links. 

Realizing he possessed an extensive network of contacts and because he loves connecting people, the seed for Edge Global Search sprouted.  The common thread throughout Eric’s career has been his ability to not only identify and attract quality talent but to ensure the appropriate cultural fit within diverse organizations.  He has successfully placed Board Members, C-Suite leaders, and several VPs in multiple functions across a broad spectrum of industries.  Because he also firmly believes in “paying it forward,” Eric’s passion outside of work includes mentoring young business professionals, lecturing at higher education institutions, and managing volunteers in homeless shelters.
